CEO: Kaspersky’s revenue rises faster in Russia than abroad

NIZHNY NOVGOROD/MOSCOW, Jun 2 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Kaspersky earns less than 80% of its revenue abroad, but its growth rate is higher on the local market, the antivirus maker’s CEO Yevgeny Kaspersky told PRIME on Friday.

“The world accounts for less than 80%, Russia has increased much. It grew more than the world,” Kaspersky said, when asked about the share of revenue earned abroad.

Kaspersky’s global unaudited revenue rose 6.5% in 2021 to U.S. $752 million, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards.

The 2022 revenue edged up 0.03% to $752 million, the company said in a financial statement. Kaspersky pointed to a complicated global situation and geopolitical factors, but said its business continued to grow in the key segments, including corporate sales.
